So in the four years First Access Funding has been in business, we’ve been one of Canada’s fastest growing and identified as one of the best new companies in the space. We have very ambitious plans. Over the next twelve to twenty-four months we plan to grow across the rest of Canada, become a full service national lender, move into some different credit spectrum areas, and compete more aggressively across the entire market place in that auto lending space.

One of the things we identified very early on after meeting Stephanie and learning about defi was that they understood the challenges that the industry lenders like ourselves had with the traditional LOS providers. In a few words she was able to sum up the challenges that we were having currently and the challenges that we would probably have going forward.

As a new company, as a young company at that point in time, a responsive LOS provider, someone who could match our needs, was everything. You need to be able to get what you need when you need it and to be able then to deliver that out to the market and to the customers.

So small things make the big difference. Your speed of approval. Your quality of service, having good software solutions behind good people in your office, which empowers them to move quickly, act quickly, respond quickly. We’ve been able to create rules that can allow us to basically auto-adjudicate a number of auto-declines or auto-acceptances, which means that an adjudicator or credit analyst doesn’t even have to look at that app.

So that’s been kind of key to why we’ve been one of the fastest growing companies in this space in Canadian history. Because we’re able to give those responses timely, quickly, but also with the consistency that the market looks for.
