A former student of legendary UCLA basketball coach John Wooden, Scott is always wide open for the assist. With more than 25 years’ finance experience, he’s contributed to the success of both public and private companies, but he’s no ball hog. Like Wooden, Scott believes that “if you want to go fast, go alone; if you want to go far, you need a team.” He’s a leader who loves building team efficiency and who’s ready for the rebound, using KPI’s and reporting to help businesses make champion decisions and achieve slam dunk performance.
- Raised the first independent financing and produced the first ever audited financial statements for a privately held founder-funded company.
- Led 25+ corporate development transactions, mostly software company acquisitions.
- Significant publicly traded software company experience, including US GAAP, SEC reporting and software revenue recognition.
- Holds an MS in Industrial Administration and a BS in Management from Purdue University.
